I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Tucker Hood about five random facts about himself, how he got started in his industry . Plus what he has learned since being a CEO. Check out my interview with Tucker below:
Loryn: How did you get started in your industry?
Tucker: I got started in B2B sales working for a high growth startup called Sigstr and was the 16th employee. I went from BDR, to AE, To Sr. AE and learned a ton along the way. The company eventually got acquired by Terminus.
Loryn: What's a lesson you've learned from being a CEO?
Tucker: A lesson I've learned by being a CEO is that it's easy to get lost in a huge vision, to start you must narrow your focus and keep the team narrowed in on that focus as well.
Loryn: What has been your biggest accomplishment to date?
Tucker: My biggest accomplishment to date was overcoming addiction and getting sober.
Loryn: What's an advice that you'd give your yourself?
Tucker: A piece of advice that I would give myself would be to focus on the things that matter. It's easy to be very busy with the things that don't matter, what are the core things you need to accomplish? Do those
Loryn: What's something that not many people know about you?
Tucker: Something that many people don't know about me is I've almost lost my life to addiction on a couple different instances.
