I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Cameron Judd to learn five random facts about himself and what lesson the entertainment industry has taught him. Check out my interview with Cameron below:
Loryn: What inspired you to become an actor?
Cameron: I was inspired to become an actor just from the amount of fun i was having. When I was younger and did my first play at a local theater, I was just having so much fun. I felt certain feelings that I had never felt before, which was my love for acting. Since then I had continued to do shows at that theater, and eventually, when I had a chance to get an agent and manager and become a working actor, I jumped at the opportunity. I was just so exited to get started, and I’ve never looked back.
Loryn: If you could guest star on any television show what would it be?
Cameron: I would probably choose a show like "Stranger Things", since that show is just so good, and I would love to be a part of that story and have fun. Though another show which I would be ecstatic to be on would be "Locke and Key", because just like Stranger Things, I enjoy it a lot, and I know I would have a great time being on those sets and joining in with the other actors playing their parts.
Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd love to work with in the future?
Cameron: An actor who I would love to work with in the future would have to be Johnny Depp, not just cause he is a big actor, but cause I feel like it would be an amazing experience and a great chance for me to learn from him! He’s an incredible actor.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you so far?
Cameron: So far, the entertainment industry has taught me to never be full of myself. It’s also taught me to never give up or question where I am in my career because what I am doing is too hard and full of rejection. No matter what happens, as long as you keep improving and keep giving it your all, something good will come to you and it will be one of the most amazing experiences of your life.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Cameron: Something that I think people might be suprised to learn about me is that I did not even start acting out of my own interest or curiosity of what it will be like. When I was around 8 years old, we had just moved away from our old home, and my Mom thought that to help me settle in, it might be a good idea to sign me up for a local theater program, which is where I discovered my love for acting. In my opinion, this just shows that everything happens for a reason. Even though we had to move away from our old life and live in a completely different state if we had not moved, then I would have never discovered my love for acting and I would not.
