I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Ayden Mekus learn five random facts about himself and how the pandemic has changed him. Check out my interview with Ayden below:
Loryn: What's a goal you hope to accomplish before the end of the year?
Ayden: I’ve been singing lately and would love to to do a cover song. My ultimate goal is to write a song and record it. I’m working on that right now. This is a new area for me, so it’s taken time to get up enough courage.
Loryn: How has the pandemic changed you?
Ayden: It’s actually been mostly a blessing. At first, it was very different and felt like it was a negative thing, but I’ve been able to find the positives out of it, for example improving my focus and what I really want to work on personally (because I had more time to myself) also being able to spend time with family like quality time has made a difference and made us even closer than we already are.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you?
Ayden: To be kind and friendly to everyone. Everyone has a story and you don’t know what they are going thru good or bad. But to also be cautious of fake people and fake friends, because this opens my heart up to getting hurt.
Loryn: What lesson have your Dhar Mann characters taught you?
Ayden: To be able to connect to all the different characters and really feel what they might have gone thru even if I haven’t gone thru some of the same experiences. Makes me very humble and aware more of what’s going on in the world.
Loryn: What is. something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Ayden: That I am actually shy. I am so much better now and pretty outgoing, but it’s taken some work to be confident and use my voice. That’s what I am most proud of, is having a voice and being able to touch people in a positive light.
