I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Founder of "WireBuzz"" Todd Hartley about five random facts about himself, also his thoughts on how to pivot with digital marketing during this particular time . Plus what the coolest thing he is currently working on. Check out my interview with Todd below:
Loryn: Who is a guest you would love to have on Video Marketing Mastery Podcast?
Todd: I'm intrigued by Tony Robbins and the impact he has had on the world. It's unbelievable. I'd love to interview him on the Toddcast. I really would. My grandfather was a big Tony Robbins fan and Tony's wisdom has helped me many times over in my life. So, when the Coronavirus broke out, and I was asked to teach Tony's followers how to sell remotely, I was beyond honored to be of service. It was a very surreal, humbling moment for me.
Loryn: How do you think businesses should pivot with digital marketing during this particular time?
Todd: It's so sad to see all these businesses struggling to stay afloat and the number of layoffs is just devastating. If a business needs physical access to potential buyers in order to generate revenue, from this point forward, that business is going to consistently underperform. Reason, access was declining prior to COVID-19 and riding this thing out is not a successful solution. Instead, businesses need to pivot by creating an on-demand buying experiences on their websites. Basically, you still need to educate and generate momentum through the sales process, but instead of doing it in person, you now have to do it virtually. And the best place to start is by creating a one-page buyer's journey on your site. Use limited text to transition prospects through each of the most important stages in the sales process and add video to make learning effortless.

Loryn: What would you consider as your biggest success?
Todd: Oh that's easy! If I'm good at anything, it's consistently defying the odds and turning crises into breakthroughs. Need some examples? I struggled miserably through school with attention disorders, now I teach businesses how to hack attention and pull prospects through their buying experiences. In 2008, I was diagnosed with a heart issue and it led me to healthy living. In 2011 my step-mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, so I launched a patient education initiative that went crazy viral reaching tens of millions of patients. In 2013, my wife became the next breast cancer patient in the family and everything she needed, I already built. Both of them are healthy today and together we flipped crisis into opportunity. Then, as a business owner, I've experienced many obstacles that miraculously made our business stronger. Now, I just know I'll get through everything stronger.
Loryn: What is something you are currently working on?
Todd: Right now, I'm coaching a lot of businesses (start-ups to enterprise) to transition their marketing and sales efforts to on-demand buying experiences that pull prospects effortlessly through their sales process. To learn more, visit:WireBuzz.com/remote-sales
Loryn: What is something not many people know about you?
Todd: At 26 years old, I was a talk show host on the #1 station in Arizona. Clear Channel used to send me to report live on location at breaking national news stories like presidential debates, inaugurations, the presidential recount in Florida and at the World Trade Center site for the first anniversary of 9/11. Nearly 20 years ago, my first website went crazy viral, reaching 36M visitors a year with $0 in ads and my marketing career was born. I ran digital marketing initiatives for 7 of the largest national talk shows in Hollywood at iHeart Radio (Premiere). From 2007-2010, I created the first video medical encyclopedia on the Internet and in 2010 I opened my marketing and sales agency WireBuzz.com.
