I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Tania Fox about five random facts about herself, what goal does she hope to achieve before the end of the year. Plus who's her dream actor she'd like to work with. Check out my interview with Tania Fox below:
Loryn: What's a goal you hope to achieve before the end of the year?
Tania: This year has obviously been quite rough for everyone including people who work in the film industry. I have been mostly isolated starting in March. And seeing that it is already December I don’t think objectively that a miracle is going to happen before the end of this year. So my goal is simply to stay healthy both physically and mentally and stick to my routine as best as I can. If I can get a few more auditions in before the end of 2020 I’ll be happy with it.
Loryn: What's something new you've learned about yourself during this global pandemic?
Tania: I learned that I am not as introverted as I thought. I have also learned to take a pause and use the down time as a an opportunity for exploration and self reflection. I prefer to be busy at all times so the pandemic definitely forced me to adjust my views on productivity and self-worth. I have been using this time to learn new things, develop new skills and explore new hobbies. I learned to design and sew simple garments, studied psychology online and learned a new language while also of course practicing my acting skills and reading books I haven’t had the time to read before.
Loryn: What's a new year's resolution you hope to accomplish as an actress?
Tania: Hopefully now that the vaccine is about to come out things will start to get back to normal. That would mean that the film industry will come back to the previous production volume. In case that happens I am hoping to book a couple of episodic roles next year. It would be absolutely fantastic to book a series regular but I have a feeling I’m going to need to build my credits up more before that can happen.
Loryn: Who is your dream actor you'd like to work with?
Tania: My acting idol is Meryl Streep. I would absolutely love to have an opportunity to work with her and learn from her. I would also love to work with Jim Carrey because I thoroughly enjoy his work and think he would be a very interesting person to get to know. Besides that honestly there is a huge list of actors and actresses I admire and would love to work with.
Loryn: What's something people would be surprised to know about you?
Tania: Depends on the person I suppose. I guess a lot of people are surprised by the fact that I am fluent in three languages with English being my third language. And I am currently bringing my fourth language up to speed. Also I have gotten big reactions from telling people that I own a 5’ long python for a pet and I absolutely adore her. She’s extremely sweet and friendly and has a quirky personality.
