I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Charlotte Larsen about five random facts about herself, her lessons from owning her own production company. Plus what's the biggest risk she has taken . Check out my interview with Charlotte Larsen below:
Loryn: What's the biggest lesson you've learned from owning your own production company?
Charlotte: Do your homework! I started my company with no knowledge how to run a business, and I jumped in sometimes too quickly. I learned that you should really take a minute to decide on a project, or a new way of doing something, because then that opportunity could turn out to go not the way you planned or wanted!
Loryn: If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be?
Loryn: What advice would you give someone whose interest in becoming an actress , while navigating the pandemic?
Charlotte: There's still a lot you can do as an actor during the pandemic. There are a lot of online classes you can take, not just acting technique but the business of acting, or even just online groups or webinars that talk about tv or movies, or plays, or experiences you can share with other actors about auditioning or being on set (good and bad!). I think also this is a great time to work on yourself as an actor and as a person. Journaling, reading, updating your Actors Access profiles, look for a new rep - it's all productive!
Loryn: What's the biggest risk you've ever taken?
Charlotte: I've taken so many risks! I would say probably starting my production company straight out of college, or moving to LA for acting school. I think those would be my biggest ones so far.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Charlotte: I may be small but I'm very feisty! People think I'm cute and shy but I'm really quite fierce when I need to be!
