I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview upcoming Podcast and Author Lukus about ten random facts about herself, what's the biggest risk he's taken . Plus what the coolest thing he is currently working on. Check out my interview with Lukus below:
Loryn: What is the best piece of advice you've received?
Lukus:Set bigger goals (favorite quote right now is "moderation in everything, including moderation" by oscar wilde)
Loryn: What's the biggest risk you've ever taken?
Lukus: Moving several states away with almost nothing to start fresh. All said and done, I still managed to move back with more experiences under my belt.
Loryn: What is your favorite marketing conference to attend, or wish to attend?
Lukus: For Hype, and potential business partners, I'd get a VIP ticket to 10x Conference, and to accelerate current growth, Dallas TX for the 5x a year CEOspace international 6 day conference. Massive collaboration.
Loryn: Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Lukus: I am neither introvert or extrovert. It depends on what's required. Need a presentation done to raise capital? Cool, I'll be the extrovert.Need to find a new chairman or research a competitor, or listen to a business partner? Great, I'll be an introvert. These are general guidelines and should be used as such. Completely resigning oneself to a label or nuance is not healthy, and I would not recommend or suggest it to anyone with great dreams.
Loryn: Who is someone you look up to? Why?
Lukus: Currently, that someone is Brian Grazer...author of A Curious Mind...multiple award winning producer and writer..learned that by asking right questions, out of the box questions, you can accelerate your understanding and growth in personal and business aspects. Who I look up to depends on the situation frankly. I may not look up to him, but I do respect Russell Brunson for creating a billionaire dollar company essentially from scratch. I look up to the Branding and Sales Skills of Dan Lok, the marketing and Dating genuis of Jason Capital, the writing prowess of Mark Ford (pen name Michael Masterson) the wit and audacity of author and former hedgefund manager James Altucher.
Loryn: What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
Lukus: None of them. Fads and trends are just empty culturally whimsical calories for the faint hearted. Hard work, Team work, and mental work. Those are whats valuable, and always will be. Although, can we all start wearing suits, like...all the time?
Loryn: What keeps you up at night?
Lukus: Seriously. That, and ideas... Ideas and thoughts of what I could do with a team of great people around me to change a few things. Which usually leads me back to listening to my own conciousness, and realizing that yes, Rome wasn't built in a day.
Loryn: What is the MUST SEE YouTube video or podcast to listen to?
Lukus: Watch any piece of content that comes from either Sadhguru or Dan Pena on Youtube. Can't ever go wrong. One is highly spiritual , one is alll business and grit and mindset.
Loryn: What are you currently working on?
Lukus: I'm currently working on piecing together the requirements for an executive, law, and accounting team so I can go after one of the bigger dreams I've had: acquire a company I can sell to a multi billion dollar company. All said and done, this will be a household brand in anywhere from 4-8 years. Be patient. (In plain English: I'm basically building a team of highly skilled and highly respected individuals from varying fields so I can raise potentially millions of dollars to start buying companies that aren't growing but have massive potential).. I also read about 5-10 books a week, mostly skimming for ideas and links to other people's mental frameworks
Loryn: What's something not many people know about you?
Lukus: Ironically enough, I HATE HATE HATE shrimp..but LOVE LOVE LOVE lobster mac and cheese.
