Learn How To Value Your Time with Nancy Fifita

I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Nancy Fifita to learn five random facts about herself and what lesson has the entertainment industry taught her. Check out my interview with Nancy below:

Loryn: What is your all-time favorite film to watch?

Nancy: I have so many favorites but if I had to choose one I’d say my absolute favorite film to watch hands-down would be “Holes” directed by Andrew Davis. It’s full of family adventures and comedy. I also loved reading the book “Holes” by Author Louis Sachar. My favorite part of the film is when the little boy Hector uses the money they earned to find his mom! I’ve read the book and watched the film over and over again. It’s definitely worth watching.

Loryn: What is a song you currently have on repeat?

Nancy: “LOCKDOWN” is on repeat 24/7! It’s an original song I wrote and will be the first single released from my debut album ”On My Way”! This album was produced by the Island Legend Fiji and is scheduled to drop in early 2022! It’s a song I feel everyone can relate to. The raw emotions of feeling locked down in the day-to-day world, relationships and just feeling overwhelmed with everything going on with this pandemic. I can’t wait to share it with you all soon.

Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught?

Nancy: I’ve been in the entertainment industry since I was 9 years old.

Five years in the industry and I’ve learned a lot, seen a lot and experienced a lot, yet there is still so much more to learn.

My very first manager, Wendy Alane Wright gave a piece of advice that has always stuck with me, “Work hard for yourself kid and others will want to work even harder for you”! I’ve crossed paths with some amazing people who genuinely want the best for me and above all “work harder for me”!

Lastly, everyone always says to “Have fun and enjoy the journey”! It’s definitely a lot of hard work but I feel blessed with all the experiences I’ve had thus far!!

Loryn: How has the pandemic changed you?

Nancy: I wouldn’t say the pandemic changed me, but I will say that the pandemic made me value my time and my time with family and friends. During this pandemic, I lost a lot of loved ones. Not being able to spend time with them or see them on a regular basis like before is hard! I pray everyone stays safe and healthy!

Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Nancy: My family nicknamed me Jr Chef! I absolutely love to cook and bake! If I’m not singing, acting, or modeling, I’m in the kitchen cooking up a meal or baking some kind of dessert! I love how it smells in the house when I’m cooking and enjoy watching others eat what I’ve made. Cooking is also very therapeutic!
