I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Adil C to learn five random facts about himself and the story behind his upcoming song “I Promise” with Trinity Rose"?Check out my interview with Adil C below:
Loryn: What other projects do you have in store for 2022?
Adil: Right now my latest single “I Promise” with Trinity Rose comes out Feb 22nd. I’m super excited to get back in the studio and start working on a bunch of new music to share with fans and big surprises that are coming up shortly.
Loryn: Who is a singer you'd love to collaborate with in the future?
Adil: I’d say Stefan Benz would be cool to work with. Super nice guy and talented. I think our style of music would mesh very well together. Gunnar Gehl would be another epic artist to work with. His musical writing style is very attention grabbing.
Loryn: What is the story behind your upcoming song “I Promise” with Trinity Rose"?
Adil: I wrote the song 2-3 years back and it was one of my demo pop songs. I loved the instrumental, wasn’t sure about the vocals, lyrics or melodies. So I scratched the song. Then I met Trinity and her voice was very powerful but very lovely and gentle at the same time. So I thought, hey we should sing together on a song. I re opened ‘I Promise’ and sent it to her to see what she thought. She ended up recording some vocals for it in her studio in Malibu and sent it back to me. I was blown away with it so I brought this demo project back to life and started working on it again. And now, we have the song coming out on the 22nd of February after countless revisions, change of lyrics, new melodies. Etc. I have to say it’s definitely my favourite song of mine now. So much love has gone into this song. I can’t wait for fans to hear it.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you?
Adil: Just like anything in life, things can be confusing. Surround yourself around people who believe in you and try new things.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Adil: I love the behind the scenes of the entertainment business. I think it’s epic when something goes successfully, but I love looking into why and how did that happen. Learning and growing is something I’m incredibly into. I also love fruits and snacks. But one thing people would be surprised to learn about me, jumping back and forth between a jacuzzi and an ice cube pool is a fun shocking experience for me.
