Loryn: Who do you consider to be your biggest influence?
Marquise: My is influence is my Uncle Rex.
Loryn: What inspired you to become a celebrity designer?
Marquise: After receiving so much attention towards my personal hat creations during the pandemic. My wife said that she thinks it's time to create this passion for the world. Then I had a conversation with a celebrity friend of mine JB Smoove about creating my hat brand. He told me to get started because when opportunity comes knocking, your ass better be home, you better not be in the shower!
Loryn: If you could design for any celebrity who would it be and why?
Marquise: JB Smoove because he inspired me to get started plus, he is a fashion icon who wears the fedora faithfully. Steve Harvey because he has always been an inspiration for me.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you?
Marquise: When swimming amongst the sharks, it's best to be a shark yourself or a dolphin that moves with a team of dolphins.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Marquise: That I cry every-time I watch the lion king.
