Loryn: What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from being an entrepreneur?
Pastor Deedria: The biggest thing I have learned as an entrepreneur is that you must learn to see beyond your circumstances good or bad. When things are good I’m always trying to see what I could do to enhance the product or service. WHY BECAUSE BUSINESS IS ever EVOLVING.
Loryn: What inspired you to host the Women’s Conference taking place in September?
Pastor Deedria: Constantly seeing women bicker and fight on social media and everywhere else is what prompted this conference. The Essence of a Women Conference is a conference I put together a year ago to help unite women of all colors, races, religions, and backgrounds. To help share and discuss the traumas that unite us a one with the hopes of foster more compassion and comradery among women. We should be uplifting one another and not competing with one another.
Loryn: What advice do you have for those seeking their divine purpose?
Pastor Deedria: Meditate. do some self-reflection. God is a rewarder for those who diligently seek him. To truly connect with your divine purpose you will have to silence the noise of the natural.
Loryn: What lesson did the pandemic teach you?
Pastor Deedria: The Pandemic taught me that you can never get comfortable. Keep reinventing yourself.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Pastor Deedria: People would be surprised to know that I am engaged to marry a man of Trans Experience. The Spirit of a person has always been more important to me than gender.
