I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Zye Ca$hto learn five random facts about himself, and if he could collab on a song with any artist, who would it be. Check out my interview with Zye.
Loryn: If you could play any venue in the world, what would it be?
Zye: Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. It's absolutely breathtaking.
Loryn: How would you describe your music in one word?
Zye: Real
Loryn: What is the story behind your song Love Someone?
Zye: I was going through a difficult time dealing with loneliness. I am a single dad and refuse to settle, but also crave relationships and unconditional love. I felt kind of hopeless regarding love, so I started writing "Love Someone" from a hopeful place, thinking maybe it could get me out of my depressed state. I want a family more than anything, which is why I say, "No I ain't done enough until I love someone." No matter what accomplishments or status I reach, it means nothing without love.
Loryn: Who is a musician you'd love to collaborate with in the future?
Zye: This may seem random, with me being a country artist, but I would love to do something with NF. He has gotten me through some of the worst times in life with his music, and I think we could make a tear-jerker.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Zye: I was a youth pastor for 2 years. I love working with kids and plan to do a lot for children, especially those less fortunate, in the future.
