I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Beulah Obioma to learn five random facts about herself, and what inspired her to become a singer. Check out my interview with Beulah below:
Loryn: What inspired you to become a singer?
Beulah: I have always been a singer. I come from a family of singers. I recently decided to start putting out music because I outgrew the perception of perfection and embraced the grace of effort and willingness to do better as I grow.
Loryn: Where do you find your inspiration for new songs?
Beulah: Many things inspire me on a daily basis ranging from; emotions, daydreams, past experiences, food and many more.
Loryn: What lesson did you learn from the pandemic?
Beulah: Something important that stayed with me was that solitude sometimes leads to healing. It's a time for minds to wander deep into itself to find out why it works the way it does depending on whose mind it is and it helps the heart heal from certain wounds and aches because it is still and quiet enough to do so.
Loryn: Who is a singer you'd like to collaborate with?
Beulah: I would love to work with Daniel Caesar. I love his music, his melodies, his delivery and the messages behind them.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Beulah: I’ve never been in a relationship before. I believe that I need to grow in certain areas of my life independently before sharing myself with anyone.
