I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Ryker Baloun to learn five random facts about himself and what inspired him to be a part of the holiday film "The Magic". Check out my interview with Ryker below:
Loryn: What inspired you to be a part of the holiday film "The Magic"?
Ryker: Well, the audition material was very dramatic so I took it as a challenge! I did my best and the director himself told me I had booked it.
Loryn: What lesson do you hope fans take away from this film?
Ryker: I hope that they laugh a little and learn to let go of the past. I want everyone to remind themselves of a very important universal message, it's not your fault.
Loryn: What lesson has your character taught you?
Ryker: My character taught me that you can’t take anyone for granted, especially your family.
Loryn: What is something we should know about the film that might surprise us?
Ryker: You should know that we all became friends on set and the entire film was shot within one month!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprise about you?
Ryker: I think people would be surprised to know that I’m only concerned with what I can control. At my age, we worry about the silliest things like if they like me, or if so-and-so is going to do whatever, or if they'll be upset. I just accept what I can’t control and am very relaxed and happy because of it. I just had a conversation with a friend about this and they were very surprised, to say the least.
