I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Ava Breeze to learn five random facts about herself and what lesson has the entertainment industry taught her. Check out my interview with Ava below:
Loryn: What is the story behind your debut single "Girls of Summer"?
Ava: I wrote Girls of Summer over Lockdown! It represents the way I was feeling looking through photos of summer's past with my friends. I truly thought we may never get the chance to be together and enjoy those adventures anymore… it’s about reflecting over Summer memories!
Loryn: What lesson have you've learned from being in the entertainment industry?
Ava: There is an ugly side to putting your art out there. It’s art, not everyone will like it! The hard part with that, is having kids at my school say how much they hate it. When you put yourself out there, you have to be prepared for the good and the bad!
Loryn: How do you juggle school and career?
Ava: I still attend actual school, multiple clubs, Varsity and a competitive cheer team! Honestly, this year is showing me that I have to make choices! School will always be number one! I am an honors student with straight A’s and I know that school has to be a priority! It just may not be in a traditional classroom as I move forward. I am finding that I miss out on many opportunities being so nailed down to a school location etc…
Loryn: How has the pandemic changed you?
Ava: I’ve grown! I had the opportunity to write and get to know myself without the outside issues or bullying! I learned just how beneficial remote learning is for me! I can truly maximize my time!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Ava: People are typically shocked to learn, that I love math! I’m actually taking double math classes this year.
