I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Peri El to learn five random facts about herself and who are some musicians she'd love to collaborate with in the future. Check out my interview with Peri below:
Loryn: What advice do you have for those interested in entering the music industry?
Peri: Never give up on what you love. If you're not failing you're not trying hard enough. It’s an extremely tough business but lean on your support system and keep at it. Every one million no’s make the one yes worth it all! Collaborate as much as possible and never think you above anyone or anything. Every experience is only going to help you learn more and grow. Stay true to yourself always and never let the industry change you.
Loryn: What do you consider as one of your biggest accomplishments in the music industry this far?
Peri: I would say my top three biggest accomplishments for me so far would be graduating from Berklee College of music, moving to NYC on my own, and opening for Betty Who and Kesha on tour!
Loryn: Who is a musician you'd love to collaborate with in the future?
Peri: Lady Gaga and Carole King are two of my favorite artist! I would be honored to collaborate with them in anything!
Loryn: What's a current project you are currently working on?
Peri: I am currently writing a 10-12 piece pop/rock album with my incredible band and planning to release it in the beginning of 2022.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Peri: I am a huge NFL fan and absolutely love sports! I grew up playing any sport I could get my hands on.
