Learn How To Hold On To People That Have Your Best Interest with BJ Tanner

I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview BJ Tanner to learn five random facts about himself and what inspired him to be an actor. Check out my interview with BJ below:

Loryn: What inspired you to become an actor?

BJ: To be honest, when I was around 5 years old, I wanted to become an actor —just so I could draw the Mickey Mouse ears on Disney Channel. We were living in South Carolina, at the time, but once we moved to LA, we hit the ground running, and I’ve loved it ever since.

Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd like to work with in the future?

BJ: There are a lot of actors and actresses I would love to work with- Will Smith being on the top of my list. However, I do see myself as Miles Morales (Spider Man)along side Tom Holland in the Marvel Universe.

Loryn: What lesson has your character William George 'Tuck' Bailey-Jones from Grey's Anatomy and Station19 taught you?

BJ: The show has taught me a lot, but one major lesson I’ve learned is that life really imitates art and vice versa.

Loryn: What is a lesson the entertainment industry has taught you?

BJ: I’ve learned about balance and time management …between school and acting I have to keep a steady head, have a steady schedule, and stay focused on my goals. I’ve also learned the industry is a slippery slope, one minute you can be the hottest name, and the next you’re not. Also, if you run into real people and someone who has your best interest, hold on to them.

Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

BJ: A lot of people don’t know that I’m an introvert; I sort of stay in my own lane. People think because I’m on tv, I’m a natural talker. Don’t get me wrong, I can hold a good conversation, if someone starts it. However, under normal circumstances, I read the room, and if I’m comfortable, I’ll open up.
