I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Ayden Layne to learn five random facts about himself and what lessons his Dhar Mann Studio characters taught him. Check out my interview with Ayden Layne below:
Loryn: What is a goal you hope to accomplish this year?
Ayden: I have set lots of goals for myself this year, for the many different hats I wear in the entertainment industry. As an actor, I would love to book a guest star role on a network TV show or a streaming series. As a musician, I want to collaborate with another artist on a project before the year's end and release it. And my final goal is to direct my first project, ideally a short film. Directing is something I want to do professionally in the future and I would love to take a shot at it this year!
Loryn: Who is a celebrity you'd love to work with in the future?
Ayden: I would love to work with Ryan Reynolds or Emma Stone at some point in my career. Ryan Reynolds always brings such personality to his projects and is endlessly funny. I think it would be cool to be a negative character to counter his positivity. As for Emma Stone, her performance in Cruella was incredible and I would just love the opportunity to be a part of something like that with her.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you?
Ayden: The lesson the entertainment industry has taught me: Everyone thinks they know a lot more than they do. People will try to tell you where you should go, what you should be doing, how you should do it when you should do it... I've learned the importance of forging my own path. To take what information I can from the people I admire and strive to be like, and do my best to block out the white noise.
Loryn: What lessons have your Dhar Mann Studio characters taught you?
Ayden: My Dhar Mann characters have always kept alive the good morals I like to follow; the main one always remembering who your friends are. Bad things happen when you don't!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Ayden: I am a passionate writer! I've been writing scripts and music since I was 14 and I absolutely love it. It's an amazing creative outlet and I hope to grow those skills through the years.
