Learn How To Follow Your Dreams with Mason McNulty

I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Mason McNulty to learn five random facts about himself and what inspired him to take part in the film Catch the Bullet. Check out my interview with Mason below:

Loryn: What would you say is your biggest accomplishment thus far?

Mason: I would say my biggest accomplishment so far as an actor was when I booked my last 2 roles. The one on Schooled playing Toby Murphy. Toby is actually the same as I am. It was such a fun role to play someone who is just like me. Then also when I booked my role in the movie Catch the Bullet. To play someone from the 1800’s who went through some challenges was so fun. Then to see it on the screen was so awesome.

Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd love to collaborate with in the future?

Mason: There are many that I would love to collaborate with. But if I have to choose right this minute, I will say Ryan Reynolds. He inspires me to be so creative. Ryan can play so many different kinds of characters. I love watching him act and study what he does so I can bring my characters to life.

Loryn: What inspired you to take part in the film Catch the Bullet?

Mason: What inspired me to take part in the film Catch the Bullet was that it was a good old western. Also, I loved the idea that it took place in the late 1800’s. And let’s face it…Who doesn’t love a good old western.

Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you so far?

Mason: There have been many lessons I have learned. But let me share a few of them with you. One lesson I have learned is “When one door closes another one will open!” Meaning when you do not get a role do not be upset because there is something else waiting for you. Another lesson I have learned is to be patient. That is not something that is easy for any of us. And the last one I will share is to ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. Your dreams are the heart and soul of. And you need to listen to them. They will make you who you are.

Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Mason: People would be surprised to know that I am a big fan of musical theater. I love doing musical theater. Being in front of a live audience and seeing their reactions at the moment is so rewarding.
