Learn How To Find Yourself with Simone Elisa

I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Simone Elisa to learn five random facts about herself and the story behind her album. Check out my interview with Simone below:

Loryn: Who is a musician you'd like to work with in the future?

Simone: It would be a dream come true to write with Tove Lo, she is one of the best pop songwriters and I love her lyricism and pop melodies.

Loryn: How would you describe your music to fans in one sentence?

Simone: Shimmer pop with a mix of vintage vibes, anthemic feels. and current danceable flair

Loryn: What is the story behind your album All In My Head?

Simone: In 2019 I was in a car accident that rocked my world, it changed my perspective about life and how I treated myself prior to that night. That moment propelled me onto a journey of self-healing, both spiritually and physically. I decided to write this album about the journey I took into finding myself, my true authentic self, and learning self-love. It's about finding the light after the dark and helping yourself let go of old thought patterns, and most importantly it's about continuing to pursue your dreams no matter what.

Loryn: What was a difficult song to sing off of your album?

Simone: In regards to technique, Dreamin', soars in the stratosphere and I enjoy a challenge so that song, in particular, took a lot of physical stamina. Emotionally, I would say "All In My Head" because it dives the deepest internally.

Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Simone: I'm a first-generation American and both of my parents are immigrants. I also spoke German as a kid but it's pretty rusty now!
