Loryn: What's a professional goal you hope to accomplish in 2021?
Uchechukwu: In 2021 I hope to learn how to mange people. This is crucial as it makes the sole core of running businesses more easier and less complex.
People management strategies can make all the difference between bad, mediocre, good and great employee experience. New upgrades in the functioning of HR systems and processes have altered the nature, extent and scope of people management. That said, at the pivotal idea and aim remains to manage people better in ways that work easier, enabled and impactful.
Loryn: What's a personal goal you hope to accomplish in 2021?
Uchechukwu: I plan to accomplish more in updating my skills in technical article writing. I also plan to contribute more on blogs too.
Loryn: What did you learn about yourself during this global pandemic?
Uchechukwu: During this pandemic, I learned I could do more with less. Honestly when the pandemic first struck, I was skpetical on how to mange and organize resources around me. I also felt it's all over for most our small business. But with the pandemic happening I discovered that it gave me room to be with family and intimate friends. I would say the pandemic helped me get to know my inner self. lol. One thing I've learnt over this few years is that when all hope is lost, there's always an inner strength to keep pushing. Even when some of my cofounders left me, I was able to keep pushing. The pandemic helped me understand why it's important to have close family ties and friends who really care.
Loryn: Who is a guest you'd love to have on your podcast?
Uchechukwu: Honestly, The One On One podcast anchored by me is an all in-depth, hard-hitting interviews series podcast with social and pod-worthy personalities. The One On One podcast is where discussion is centered on the issues surrounding various controversial society issues affecting everyone globally. I would love to have someone like Barack Obama on the podcast someday.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Uchechukwu: A lot of people think I am so mean and too work centered, but most times when they come close they find out that I am balanced in my activities. And that is something I am glad to keep upholding. Most people are suprised to find out that I am an Author, I authored a book tiltled: Artificial Intelligence: It's Role in Modern Computing and Education. It's available on Amazon. The book focuses on Artificial Intelligience (AI) is at the forefront of a new era of computing, Cognitive Computing. It's a radically new kind of computing very different from the programmable systems that preceded it. As different as those systems were from the tabulating machines of a century ago, conventional computing solutions based on mathematical principles that emanate from the 1940s are programmed based on rules and logic intended to derive mathematically precise answers, often following a rigid decision tree approach. But with today's wealth of big data and the need for more complex evidence-based decisions such a rigid approach often breaks or fails to keep up with available information.
