I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Fabienne Raphael about five random facts about herself, what lesson's has she learned from starting her own TV show . Plus what she considers has her biggest accomplishment to date. Check out my interview with Fabienne below:
Loryn: What's a lesson you've learned from creating your own tv show?
Fabienne: I had a Decoration show that was shown on a major channel, here in Quebec, Canada. What I learned is that sometimes, experience doesn't matter. What matters is your belief in your topic and in the success of your project. Your drive, your passion, and your ambition shine through the fact that you are taking a leap on something totally new. When I did my TV show, I was a total beginner. But I learned from the best school. The school of life and experience. The filming staff taught me a lot on-camera presence.
Loryn: Who is the next guest you'd love to feature on your podcast?
Fabienne: There are many people I would love to interview on the next podcast that I will launch. Not only will I interview entrepreneurs who made it from side-gig to full-time online coach, but I also want to welcome celebrities, once in a while. I would looooove to interview Jada Pinkett-Smith. I am a fan of her Red Table Talk and I love how real she is into daring to have the uncomfortable conversations.
Loryn: What has being a former athlete taught you?
Fabienne: What being an elite athlete taught me? Soooo many things.
Work ethics. Resilience. Discipline. Adaptation. Overcoming challenges. The Winning Attitude. Grit. I can transfer all these skills in my entrepreneurial journey. It really serves me. A lot.
Loryn : What's your biggest accomplishment to date?
Fabienne: My biggest accomplishment to date is without a doubt raising my kids.
I do my best to share and show how to live meaningfully with values of love, simplicity, respect, loyalty. I see them grow and evolve and I'm proud of them.
Loryn: What's something not many people know about you?
Fabienne: Is that I rarely get bored when I'm on my own. While I am a very sociable person, I also enjoy my alone time.To me, it's resourceful. And I've been like that since I'm a kid.
