I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Lucas Royalty to learn five random facts about himself and his biggest inspiration. Check out my interview with Lucas below:
Loryn: Who are your biggest inspirations?
Lucas: Definitely my parents. They are both super hardworking, and they have given up a lot to let me follow my dreams! They always put me first and are there for me through ups and downs. I'm super lucky.
Loryn: If you had the world's attention for one minute, what would you tell them about bullying?
Lucas: That it is horrible. Like really, really awful. You never know what someone is going through at any moment in their lives…. Maybe someone has problems at home or is being abused or doesn't have enough food to eat. So for someone to make fun of you, especially when you're trying your best to get through life, well, that's the lowest of the low.
And you shouldn't form opinions of people before you get to know them. It feels so awful to have your feelings hurt, and that pain can last forever. So I would ask people to think before they speak and learn before judging. I think choosing kindness is the best option!
Loryn: What inspired you to be a part of your newest film?
Lucas: A few years ago, we did a short film based on the same concept, and it was very well received, but there was so much more of a story to tell. The short film only dealt with a small part of what these characters went through and why. So when the director Tom Albanese came to us with his concept for the feature, I knew I had to do it. It's haunting, intriguing, and deep, and I wanted to be a part of completing the storyline.
Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd love to work with in the future?
Lucas: Lol, I say it in every interview, but Jennifer Aniston! She is my absolute favorite. Her range is incredible, and I've been a fan since I was a little boy. I'd also really like to work with Denzel Washington, Noah Jupe, and Tom Holland! The list of actors I'd love to work with is pretty long!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Lucas: That I'm like a pogo stick master. Lol, I Can jump on that thing forever. And that I like gardening. I planned out our flower bed all by myself, and I love tending to my plants.
