Learn How To Be Persistent with Dallas Edwards

I had the opportunity to exclusively interview Dallas Edwards to learn five random facts about himself and what inspired him to be an actor. Check out my interview with Dallas below:

Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd like to work with?

Dallas: I'd love to work with Adam Sandler. His comedy has always been something that has interested me and made me want to make people laugh.

Loryn: What inspired you to be an actor?

Dallas: I loved movies and television from a very young age. I would always memorize and perform scenes from my favorite movies and shows. My mom put me in a theatre camp at our local dinner theatre, Derby Dinner Playhouse, when I was 8. I knew after the first day that I wanted to be an actor. I loved the thought of portraying different characters. The next summer I was in a production of The Wizard of Oz at Derby Dinner Playhouse and I was hooked.

Loryn: If you had a magic wand, what movie or tv show would you like to be a part of?

Dallas: If I could be part of any movie or tv show it would be The Goonies. It has everything. Action, comedy, drama.

Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you so far?

Dallas: The entertainment industry has taught me that you have to be persistent to be successful as an actor. You have to have the persistence to audition 100's of times just to book one role. You must also be persistent in learning your craft and new skills to add to your repertoire.

Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Dallas: People might be surprised to learn that I booked my very first audition. After signing with Heyman Talent in Louisville, my first audition request was for a film called Masterminds and I booked it.
