I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Daria Diache to learn five random facts about herself and who is an actress or actor she'd love to collaborate with in the future. Check out my interview with Daria below:
Loryn: What would you say is your biggest accomplishment thus far?
Daria: If I'm reaching for the low-hanging fruit in describing my biggest accomplishments, I would talk about moving to the US to follow my dreams or securing excellent representation. In all reality, though, my biggest accomplishment came post covid-19 when I fully decided to keep my focus not on accolades and awards but on training and becoming the best actor I can be.
Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd love to collaborate with in the future?
Daria: I greatly admire Jessica Chastain. Her Acting is phenomenal, but something about her voice draws the audience in. Also, I count Idris Elba as a phenomenal Actor and would relish the opportunity to work and learn alongside him.
Loryn: How has the pandemic changed you?
Daria: The pandemic has developed patience like I never thought possible. When the world shut down, all I had was time, and I quickly realized that, in fact, that's all any of us ever has.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you so far?
Daria: PERSISTENCE & FAITH. I was the one who always had a plan. I still do; however, the film industry has taught me that my plans will only prosper when I persist through rejection and trust that the Universe has my best interest at heart. Ultimately: it's not always up to me.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Daria: I'm extremely sympathetic to animals. In the movie "HOCUS POCUS," when Binx, the cat, dies and becomes a ghost, I bawled my eyes out! I cry to this day when I rewatch that film at Halloween time.
