Learn How To Be Mindful of One's Mental Health with Skyla Disney


I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Skyla Disney to learn five random facts about herself and what inspired her to become a cheerleader. Check out my interview with Skyla below:


Loryn: What inspired you to be a cheerleader?


Skyla: I was inspired to be a cheerleader because when I was younger, I was always fascinated with doing cartwheels and handstands, so I decided to try cheer and fell in love with the sport, especially tumbling.


Loryn: How would you describe 2021 for yourself in one sentence?


Skyla: 2021 was definitely interesting; not the way I wanted things to go, but I feel like it was still a productive year.


Loryn: If you could model for your favorite brand, which would it be?


Sykla: If I could model for my favorite brand, it would be Pacsun. I love all of their clothes, and most of my casual outfits are from there.


Loryn: If you had the world's attention in one minute, what would you tell them about mental health?


Skyla: Mental health is not just what goes on in someone's head, and it's not just stress. It's a mix of many different things, including personal thoughts, anxiety, and stress. It is different for everyone as no one person is the same, but each is equally important to be mindful of.


Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?


Skyla: I played baseball for a few years before I did Allstar cheer.
