I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Glotivation group to learn five random facts about themselves and how they would describe their music in one word. Check out my interview with Glotivation below:
ABIGAIL
Loryn: What projects do y'all have in store for the upcoming month?
Abigail: This upcoming month is pretty busy as I’m working on a new original song and just filmed a fun music video for one of my songs called, “Take It Slow.” I’m also currently working on a super cool new Disney animation series and love the character. I’m also excited because I will be working again with the inspiring Glo Up Girls on another inspiring Glotivation project.
Loryn: How would y'all describe y'all music in one word?
Abigail: Empowering
Loryn: What is y'all story behind y'all song Rock Your Glow?
Abigail: We want to inspire and empower other young people. The Glo Up Dolls represent not being afraid to show that sparkle inside you and to rock who you are.
Loryn: What other stores besides Target where would you love y'all dolls in?
Abigail: I would also love to see the dolls in Walmart and independent toy stores.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about y'all?
Abigail: I play the drums and I have a black belt in Taekwondo.
SAUCY
Loryn: What projects do y’all have in store for the upcoming month?
Saucy: For the upcoming month, GLOTIVATION will be getting back together to put out a new song and video. I'm very excited about this and can't wait to see my friends again.
Loryn: How would y’all describe y’all music in one word?
Saucy: One word to describe our music is FUN, it's very upbeat and inspiring for kids and our visuals are a lot of fun to watch too.
Loryn: What is y’all story behind the song Rock Your Glo?
Saucy: Rock Your Glo is a song written to inspire kids to be themselves, your GLO is what makes you..you. Your Glo can be your talent, personality, or style just that thing that you feel is amazing about yourself.
Loryn: What other stores besides Target would we love our dolls in?
Saucy: Definitely Walmart
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you all?
Saucy: People may be surprised to know that we actually didn't know each other before we became a group, we got along instantly and now it feels like we've known each other for a very long time. We all have different personalities and I think that's really cool.
Lulu
Loryn: What projects do y’all have in store for the upcoming month?
Lulu: Individually and personally we are all working on music and our own projects. As Glotivation, we are getting ready for some new music and exciting adventures coming up really soon!
Loryn: How would y’all describe y’all music in one word?
Lulu: Glotivating 😊
Loryn: What is y’all story behind the song Rock Your Glo?
Lulu: Rock Your Glo is a song about being who you are, not waiting one more minute to go follow your dreams and make them happen. It’s about not letting anything stop you from making your life amazing and everything you want it to be!
Loryn: What other stores besides Target would we love our dolls in?
Lulu: Oh, EVERY store! All over the world! So that every person can see how beautiful they are and what they stand for and have the chance to own one. These dolls are beautiful and they represent being true to yourself and rocking who you are!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you all?
Lulu: The minute we met we clicked and became such amazing friends. I think that’s proof that no matter who you are or where you’re from there are amazing people out in the world and nobody ever has to feel alone.
Sparkle
Loryn: What projects do y’all have in store for the upcoming month?
Sparkle: In the next month, we might or might not be surprising everybody with a new song. so stay tuned to find out!
Loryn: How would y’all describe y’all music in one word?
Sparkle: Our music is very motivational!
Loryn: What is y’all story behind the song Rock Your Glo?
Sparkle: We wanted everyone to understand that everyone is unique and special in their own ways, and we wanted to push the message for people to live in their own truth and always be themselves.
Loryn: What other stores besides Target would we love our dolls in?
Sparkle: I think another store I could see the glo up girls dolls in is probably claire’s since they fit the whole vibe
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you all?
Sparkle: Well, something surprising about us all is that we are all addicted to Starbucks and Saucys first time having a Starbucks drink was with us on set!
