I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Sofia Bragar to learn five random facts about herself and what inspired her to become an actress. Check out my interview with Sofia below:
Loryn: What other projects do you have in store for 2022?
Sofia: I will be performing for Plan-B Entertainment’s The King And I upcoming musical production in April. I also starred in AUGMENT, a short film coming out soon which I am also very excited about.
Loryn: Who is an actor or actress you'd love to collaborate with in the future?
Sofia: Zendaya for sure. She is so young but so successful and I can not wait to be able to meet her and learn from her.
Loryn: What inspired you to become an actress?
Sofia: The unshakable feeling for wanting to be on stage or on set every time I watched a play/musical/movie. When I was young I always knew that is what I wanted to do even though I had never had acted before.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you?
Sofia: Your happiness can not depend on booking jobs because it will destroy you. You are you and you are successful just for auditioning and staying active. “No”s will be part of the process, and that does not mean you are not good enough.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Sofia: I think people who are not part of the industry would be surprised to learn how much work I put into my career. I am submitting for work, auditioning, self-taping, memorizing, networking, updating reels and resumes, training, and focusing on my well-being pretty much all week. Actors are looked at as less hardworking people and, even though there might be some who are, I believe acting involves a lot of work and patience.
