I had the opportunity to exclusively interview Chelle Wilson about five random facts about herself. Plus learn her number one recommendation when it comes to creating a website. Check out my interview with Chelle Wilson below:
Loryn: What have you've learned about yourself during the pandemic?
Chelle: During the pandemic, I learned how resilient I truly am. The pandemic allowed me to slow down, focus, and put into perspective what really matters. I learned that being healthy and being surrounded by those that you love are the true riches of life - those are things that I took for granted before the pandemic. I also realized that I need to do a better job of finding a balance between working as hard as I do and having fun, for life is meant to be enjoyed.
Loryn: What's a recommendation you have for people when it comes to creating a website?
Chelle: A website should be clean, aesthetically-pleasing, and clutter-free; less is truly more. The most important thing is to ensure that the content you are incorporating onto your website, serves a purpose. If the content isn't engaging or providing customers with the information they need to make a purchase or to utilize your service(s), then there is no point in placing that content on your website.
Loryn: If you could choose who your mentor could be, who would you choose?
Chelle: I would choose Zig Ziglar who was an American author, successful salesman, and motivational speaker. For someone who is currently here with us, I would choose Michelle Obama. Her book "Becoming" inspired me to always strive to become the most beautiful version of myself. I love and appreciate her outlook on life; it is truly amazing.
You don't have to be great at something to start, but you have to start to be great at something.- Zig Ziglar
Loryn: What is a goal you hope to accomplish this year?
Chelle: I have a laundry list of goals to accomplish this year, but the one I want to accomplish the most is to publish a children's book that I've been working on for the past two years.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Chelle: I think people would be surprised to know that I love playing video games, especially fighting games like Tekken or Mortal Komat and any car racing games. I would play all day if I could.
