I had the opportunity to exclusively interview Peach Martine she shared five random facts about herself and the story behind her latest single "Romeo and Juliet". Check out my interview with Peach below:
Loryn: How would you describe your music in one sentence?
Peach: A theatrical yet authentic revival of all the best parts of rock and roll.
Loryn: Who is a musician you'd love to collaborate with in the future?
Peach: Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.
Loryn: What is the story behind your single "Romeo and Juliet"?
Peach: "Romeo and Juliet" is about the chaos of brand new love. When you've just fallen in love and you feel so on top of the world, and everything is exciting and fresh — you feel like your love is the greatest love of all time. This song captures that.
Loryn: What lesson has the entertainment industry taught you so far?
Peach: That fans can become your best friends. I've had girls reach out online, or introduce themselves as a fan in public places, and now we can't go a day without talking to each other. I feel so close to so many of my listeners and I love them... I already know that a highlight of my life will be meeting my fans in person when I go on tour!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Peach: I love to compose! I often dream of writing Broadway musicals and movie soundtracks! I already have so many ideas and I hope to bring them all to the screen and stage!
