Learn Five Killer Plans Sarah Has For Herself

I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Sarah Brine about five random facts about herself, what goal does she hope to achieve before the end of the year. Plus what lesson she has learned since . Check out my interview with Sarah Brine below:

Loryn: During this pandemic, how have you been preparing yourself for your next project once quarantine is lifted?

Sarah: During the pandemic I have been learning some new skills and doing some voice work. I went home for six months when the pandemic first began. I have been learning guitar, different accents, Spanish, … I recently came back to L.A. and was lucky enough to start working. I just wrapped on two movies and am very glad to be back.

Loryn: What’s a goal you hope to achieve before the end of the year?

Sarah: At the end of 2019, I set goals for 2020. I recently looked back over that list and I did not accomplish everything, but I did complete a few. The last thing on my goal list for 2020 was “appreciate absolutely everything.” I know it is kind of hard to find the bright side of a global pandemic and I can not speak for everyone, but Covid gave me time to reflect on all the wonderful people and things I have in my life. I have been very fortunate not to lose anyone to Covid and my heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone. I love setting goals, but I always say that “everything will happen when you are ready for it” and “what is meant for me, will always be mine.” So, as we come to the final few months of 2020, I just want to do what I love with people I adore.

Loryn: What’s a lesson you’ve learned since being an actress?

Sarah: One important lesson I have learned since I became an actress is that you can influence the energy in the room. If you come to set with a can-do mindset, if you are prepared for anything, if you are kind, people will see that and want to work with you. Most of the jobs I get now are through people I know. I know it is impossible to always be happy and it is not about always being upbeat. It is just about being an organized, hardworking, and a kind human being .

Loryn: What inspired you to become an actress?

Sarah: I was inspired to act by watching other people act. I honestly never thought I would be an actress. I did online public school for the last two years of high school. During that time, I took a theatre course through a nearby college. I did not think much of it until I had to go see a play or a musical. I love musicals and I chose to see “Mamma Mia!” at the Cleveland Playhouse. I sat in the very back of the theatre and loved every second of it. I knew, then and there, I wanted to act.

Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?

Sarah: Most people do not know that I was a complete introvert growing up. I was the person who was going to stay home all her life and be happy doing it. I did online schooling for four years simply because I did not fit in at school. I was the girl with braces, acne, and really bad bangs. I was also figure skating, so I would finish my schoolwork and then head straight to the rink to train. I loved online schooling because I was able to work at my own pace. (plus I could work in my pajamas)
