I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Yessica Sanchez about five random facts about herself, what some challenges she faces as an actor during the pandemic . Plus what's a goal she hope to achieve before the end of the year . Check out my interview with Yessica Sanchez below:
Loryn: What's some challenges you face as an actor during the pandemic?
Yessica: At the beginning of the pandemic, the film industry was completely shut down and it was no longer possible to shoot on sets. Thankfully, there were a couple of remote projects and actor challenges to keep us busy during this time. I focused on taking workshops and developing my craft. It was a great opportunity to go inside and grow as an individual and as a professional. Now, before going on sets, everyone has to get tested, and there are a lot of precautions while filming.
Loryn: What advice would you give someone who doesn't have acting experience?
Yessica: Take classes and workshops! I believe as actors we're already very curious about life and the human mind. Therefore, it's crucial to work on your skills. But I think it's also important to get out there, take on projects and collaborate with different people to get a lot of material to show to agents, managers, producers, and casting directors.
Loryn: You are currently an actor and model, Which occupation do you prefer?Â
Yessica: I love drama. Even when I'm modeling I'm as dramatic as I can be. My heart has always been beating for acting. What's fascinating about it is that I can just be and dive into a completely different character every time.

Loryn: What's a goal you hope to achieve before the end of the year?
Yessica: I really hope to book an episodic role. Finger's crossed!
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Yessica: I'm from Switzerland. People are very surprised by that because I have such a Latin name.
