I recently had the opportunity to exclusively interview Mark C. Field about five random facts about himself, what inspired him to become an actor. Plus what the pandemic has taught him. Check out my interview with Mark C. Fields below:
Loryn: What inspired you to become an actor?
Mark C Field: I grew up doing theatre in a small town just outside of Boston. When I was acting and when I was with that community is when I felt at home. It kept me inspired and it always just felt right so I almost had no choice but to keep going with it. Although, if I want to be really specific when I first discover the love? Second grade “readers theatre” when I was the gingerbread man.
Loryn: What has this pandemic taught you?
Mark C Field: Well nothing good has come from coronavirus but there may have been some good from the stay at home order. For me, as cliche as it might sound, I learned to be with myself more. I never was a person who really made sure I had alone time but now I’ve realized I can actually look forward to those moments too.
Loryn: What advice do you have for those interested in becoming an actor?
Mark C Field: If you want to do it, go and do it!! Stop making excuses to start!
Loryn: What's a goal you hope to achieve before the end of this year?
Mark C Field: As everything starts picking back up, my biggest goal right now is just to make sure I’m feeding my creative side. Whether that’s further developing projects I’ve been working on or doing new things like painting (although, let me tell you, a painting career is not in my future haha).
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Mark C Field: I’m a huge sports fan! If I’m not working I will sit on the coach at 10 AM on a Sunday and watch football straight through to the end of the day!
